GEG BOOTH FOR FIRST YEAR TOUR

I. Title
Name: GEG Booth for First year Tour

Date: AUGUST 7-10, 2023

Venue: Northwest Samar State University – College of Education – Ground

floor

II. Rationale

As Northwest Samar State University took initiative to welcome first

year students, the organizations were asked to make a booth and have their
different concepts that will offer services or products to students when they
entered the Northwest Samar State University. With this, the Generalist
Educator's Guild gave their full support by creating a booth that will truly be
appreciated by the first-year students and among students, faculty, and
staffs.
Our booth offered crocheted items which are: key chain, ballpens
with crocheted cap, bracelets, necklaces, scrunchies, and wallets. We also
offered customized crocheted items. The items added beauty to our booth
where many people purchased and liked it. The design of the booth was
based on the theme color (golden yellow & black). The GEG officers
completely participated during the operations of booth, and the GEG
students.
The sole purpose of having a welcome tour is to welcome the first
year students, to allow them to see the nature of the College of Education
and around the campus. Following guidelines for security and sensitivity,
the booth runs well and successful.

PERYALEARN BOOTH

I. Title
Name: Peryalearn Booth
Date: September 18-22, 2023
Venue: NwSSU Main Campus- COED Building (Room 202)

II. Rationale
The University Intramurals Meet is already an annual school event
with sports and exhibitions. With the incoming intramurals meeting, the
Institutional Supreme Student Council again organized an exhibition for all
programs in the university where the concepts should be aligned to the
chosen program or course. It encourages the complete participation of
students. Therefore, the Generalist Educators' Guild genuinely participated
and created a worthy booth that suited the concept and was unique to the
experiences of students.

Our organization made a well-planned booth that would suit the

concepts and interests of the students. This ensured the complete
participation of officers in the establishment of the booth. As part of the
process, the time, efforts, and patients had been measured and tested. With
perseverance and dedication to fulfill the given responsibility, what had
been drawn and planned accomplished.

The sole purpose of having this Peryalearn Booth is to offer a unique

learning experience. To experience a Perya-like station that will freely
exercise their knowledge without the fear of failing and boredom to not so
interesting subjects. The outcome goes beyond our expectations, as we
gained lots of appreciation and praise from students and teachers. The
booth has succeeded in winning the hearts of the students, fulfilling the
organization, and generating funds.

education. It consists of thrilling games and challenges where students have
the freedom to choose from any of the eight general education subjects—
EPP, Science, Araling Panlipunan, English, Mathematics, Filipino, MAPEH,
and ESP—and dare to challenge their stock knowledge to win amazing
prizes. In line with Perya-like stations, the booth also offered a mini baratilyo
outside. The mini baratilyo sold crocheted and other items at a very budget-
friendly price.

V. Summary of Results

The result of the peryalearn booth generated positive and negative

feedback from students and teachers who played and visited our booth. The
majority show their admiration and appreciation for the great ideas and
efforts done by the organization. We gained a profit that has been added to

TRIUMPH OF ELEGANCE: A QUEST FOR THREE CROWNS

I. Title
Name: Triumph of Elegance
Date: September 1, 2023
Venue: Northwest Samar State University – Socio Cultural

II. Rationale
The Northwest Samar State University considers pageantry as one
of the acitivity during intramurals meet. To support that, a Triumph of
Elegance has been done to each department to search for candidates.
Therefore, the College of Education asked each program to have their own
representatives. They required one (1) for Ms. Education, one (1) for Mr.
Education, and one (1) for Ms. Spectrum. The standard of candidates
required was given. With this, the Generalist Educator's Guild searches for
a candidate that would meet the qualifications.

Our organizations had a problem choosing candidates and

considering the expenses to be used. But because of the dedication to
completely participate to such pageant, we find ways. We completed three
candidates to represent our organization. They were handled and managed
by us GEG officers truly. Solicitations and contributions from our
organization supported the expenses from the first event until the coronation
night.

The sole purpose of having this triumph of elegance is to choose a

desired candidate. It aims to choose a quality candidate that would
represent the College of Education for upcoming Intramurals. It is also to
encourage all organizations under the College of Education to actively
participate and contribute to the success of Triumph of Elegance.

Generalist. There are twenty-six (26) candidates from the Education
Department who competed for swimwear, casual wear, formal attire,
beauty, and wit, which brought life to the pageant and generated raucous
cheers and applause.

V. Summary of Results
