Instructions in Crafting a Project/Activity Proposal

1. Project and Activity Proposals must be aligned with the approved Annual
Implementation Plan of the school.
2. The Project/Activity proposal must consist of the following:
a. Letter of Intent to the School Head: This letter should indicate
the approval or re-approval for the implementation of the
project/activity. An approved project/activity is in its first year
of implementation, while a re-approved project/activity is in
its second year of implementation.
b. Accomplished Project/Activity Proposal Template:

3. The project/activity proponent is required to submit a progress report


depending on the length/phase of the project/activity.
4. To validate the effectiveness of the project/activity, the assigned
monitoring personnel must use a valid and acceptable monitoring and
evaluation tool.
5. The project/activity proposal should be reviewed for recommendation by
the department or unit assigned and approved by the school head.

Dear Sir:

Greetings of peace and joy!

I am writing to formally submit a school activity for your consideration and approval. I
believe that this proposal will provide valuable learning experiences and enhance the
educational journey of our fellow students.

I am constantly seeking opportunities to engage our fellow students in meaningful and


enriching activities. The purpose of this proposal is to outline an activity/project that
will not only foster creativity and teamwork but also align with the curriculum and
support the overall development of our fellow students.

The proposed activity/project, titled “Ignite Your Mind: A STEM Adventure”, aims
to engage current STEM students and encourage current Junior High School students to
choose STEM as their strand. The expected outcomes include promoting a healthy and
enjoyable learning environment, and encouraging current JHS students to choose
STEM. The proceeds from the event will be used as funds for future activities/programs
the club wishes to implement. The event will offer a dynamic, STEM-driven experience
that sparks curiosity, fosters critical thinking, and promotes teamwork among students.
Additionally, it will provide a platform for us and our fellow students to exhibit their
scientific knowledge and problem-solving skills in an exciting and engaging way.

To ensure the successful implementation of the activity/project, I have attached a


detailed plan that includes a timeline, required resources, and a budget breakdown.

PROJECT / ACTIVITY PROPOSAL

I. Title: “Ignite Your Mind: A STEM Adventure” a STEM week inspired event
(STEM Club Activity)

II. School Year: Second Quarter of School Year 2024-2025

III. Institution: Nicolas L. Galvez Memorial Integrated National High School

IV. Objectives:

The objectives of the STEM week inspired event " Ignite Your Mind: A STEM
Adventure" can include:

1. The event aims to teach current JHS students about the fun and importance of
STEM in our daily lives. It also seeks to encourage them to choose STEM as their
strand.

2. The STEM event can serve as a fundraising activity to generate funds for the
STEM club. The funds raised will be used for further activities/events the club are
planning to implement.

3. The event can inspire participants to engage in hands-on learning and foster a
passion for STEM. Through interactive activities and challenges, students will
enhance their problem-solving skills and learn about the fun in STEM while
contributing to the future development of STEM programs and initiatives.

4. The event can bring together students from JHS and SHS creating a united and
collaborative environment. This provides an opportunity for participants to
connect, engage, and support each other in their shared passion for STEM
learning and innovation.

V. Time Frame:

October 14-18, 2024 (Monday-Friday) / every 1:00 in the afternoon

The STEM Kinetikos event "Ignite Your Mind: A STEM Adventure" is proposed to
encourage the JHS students to choose STEM as their academic strand and to create
funds for future projects of the club through the different and engaging activities to be
done throughout the week.

The event can inspire participants to engage in hands-on learning and foster a
passion for STEM. Through interactive activities and challenges, students can enhance
their problem-solving skills while learning about the fun in STEM.

The event aims to give some background on what STEM related jobs/studies are
and how it affects their daily life. Through this event, students are given an opportunity
to learn, engage, and enjoy the different parts of STEM creating a spark for their
interest in STEM.

The event can serve as a fundraising activity to generate funds for the STEM
Kinetikos Club. The funds raised will be used for further activities/events the club are
planning to implement.

The event encourages students to participate in the different activities


happening throughout the week. By participating, individuals are not only supporting
the future projects of the STEM club, they are also learning useful STEM related
knowledge that are beneficial for their future prospects.

The event brings together individuals from different communities, fostering a


sense of unity, camaraderie, and support. It creates an opportunity for people to
connect, interact, and build relationships while collectively working towards a common
goal.

The event brings together the students from the JHS and SHS department
creating an enjoyable and engaging learning environment. It provides an opportunity
for people to meet, interact, and form relationships while working toward a shared
objective.

In summary, the STEM event "Ignite Your Mind: A STEM Adventure" aims to
create a positive impact on the perspective of JHS students in the STEM strand and to
serve as a fundraising activity for the STEM club.

VII. Abstract

The STEM kinetikos event "Ignite Your Mind: A STEM Adventure" is designed to
inspire junior high school students to pursue STEM education and raise funds for future
club projects. Through engaging activities, students can explore STEM fields, develop
problem-solving skills, and learn about the practical applications of STEM in everyday
life. The event fosters a sense of community and provides opportunities for JHS
