Moreover, the outcome of this study will be useful for any school officials.
Parents including the students of Cabuyao INHS. This study will clarify for all readers
why and how oral participation in Face-to-face classes affects the respondents
interpersonal communication. The outcome of this research will benefit for the
students, school administration and teachers and future researchers.
Methodology
Research Method
This study uses Quantitative Research since it allows for the gathering and
analysis of numerical data. The researchers were able to acquire, organized, and
objective information regarding the communication skills of the selected pupils by
applying Quantitative Methodologies.
Moroever, Descriptive Research in this study because it aims to describe and
analyze the current state of Interpersonal Communication skills among selected Grade
10 students at CABUYAO INHS for the school year 2023-2024. This form of study is
excellent for descriptive research since it allows for the collection and analysis of data
to characterize the characteristics of a certain subject.
Hence, correlational study method was used in this study because it aims to
investigate the relationship between Interpersonal Communication Skills and face-to-
face class attendance among Grade 10 students in CABUYAO INHS. The study will use
Correlational Research to see if there is substantial correlation between these two
factors. This study type is suited for these researchers to establish a relationship
between two or more variables without changing them.
Variable/s
Independent Variable/s : Interpersonal communication skills can be treated as an
independent variable in a research study, representing the ability to effectively
convey and interpret messages, emotions, and ideas, potentially influencing the
outcomes of various social interactions and situations.
Dependent Variable/s : Face-to-face classes can be considered as a dependent
variable if the main objective is to analyze the impact of this teaching method on
students' learning outcomes or other related factors.
Statistical Treatment
1. Slovin's formula was used to compute the sample size from the given
population and a margin of error. The formula is: n = N / (1 + N(e^2)). Where n is
the sample size, N is the population size, and e is the margin of error.
