Prepositions are words placed before a noun or a


pronoun.

The preposition is used to indicate location or position


within or inside.

Kindly read the first sentence, Dannah? The hen is in the box.
In this sentence, the location of the hen is within or inside
the box.

I have here another example of preposition using in:


( The teacher will show a basket full of fruits)
Where can you see the fruits? The fruits are in the basket.
So the fruits are inside the basket.

Let’s proceed to the next preposition, the preposition on.

The location of the bird is exactly on the branch that is why
