Procedure:
1. Make the circuit as shown in Fig 1 for the study of forward bias characteristics curve of all the diodes.
2. Increase VD from 0 to 1 V for Si (zener diode) and 2V for LED and note the corresponding value of ID . Where,
VD is the voltage measured by voltmeter(V) across diode and ID is the current measured by the ammeter(A)
in series with the diode.

3. To study the reverse bias characteristics curve, make the circuit as shown in Fig 2 and increase VD and note
down the corresponding ID .
