    Sl. No Job Description


    01 Check the physical condition of samples received for testing;
    02 Organise test setup required for Cable Testing (i.e., sample preparation, sample mounting, and
    preparation of test bed, etc.);
    03 Ensure that the test standards / TWI’s are available where related activities are performed;
    04 Carry out the testing as assigned;
    05 Ensure that necessary PPE to be used for respective testing activities;
    06 Record testing raw data and prepare draft test report;
    07 Ensure that the equipment used for testing is having valid calibration;
    08 Carry out maintenance of Test Equipment;
    09 Place the remaining samples retained for the re–test in the sample preservation area and;
    10 Ensure that the sample is preserved for specified retention period. However, it may be stored for
    longer period, if requested by the concerned user / section;
    11 Ensure proper disposal of the sample after retention period as well as after testing, after receipt
    of approval from the Lab Technical Manager;
    12 Handle the samples throughout the testing and preservation in such a way that it does not
    create any problem in testing;
    13 Use available resources on optimum basis to achieve maximum output during the testing;
    14 Monitor calibration of test equipment and reference standards;
    15 Maintain good housekeeping and environment in laboratory;
    16 Carry out all miscellaneous work allied to testing;
    17 Stop the testing activities if proper environment condition is not maintained / achieved and
    inform to lab technical manager for further action.

    laboratory policies.
    3. Please adhere to the procedures, forms, formats prescribed in the Company / Lab Manuals.
