COURSE PROJECTS
1. Midterm take-home Exam: PPT of at least one mental health disorder
Create a PowerPoint (PPT) presentation, following the PPT rubric in the LMS, on at least
one of the mental health disorders addressed in this course. This requirement will serve as
the midterm examination. The PPT can be done by an individual or in a group of no more
than three individuals. The PPT is due the Friday before midterm week. It must be
submitted as a PowerPoint presentation, NOT a pdf, sent to the professor’s email address,
NOT the LMS. If the project is done as a group, designate only ONE person to send the
copies of the reference forms to the professor. Include the names of all two or three
members of the group in the email.
2. Final take-home Exam: Mental Health Informational Reference Forms (minimum of
twelve)
Create a reference sheet for at least twelve mental health disorders.
Each sheet will serve as a reference for you when you become a registered nurse.
Use the Mental Health Disorder Information Template provided in the LMS for each
diagnosis. The final product of all information sheets is due by the last day of class for the
semester. The 12 Mental Health Information Reference Forms can be done by an individual
or in a group of no more than three individuals. Submit a copy of each mental health
disorder chosen as one 12 page WORD document; NOT a pdf, to the professor via email;
NOT via LMS. If the project is done as a group, designate only ONE person to send the
copies of the reference forms to the professor. Include the names of all two or three
members of the group in the email.
