Instruction
This SAQ1 consists of two (2) questions which was carefully designed to assess your comprehension
of the information presented on the recently covered units in the module. The question brings 40
marks and the total will be converted into 5% into your total grade. Please answer all questions
provided. Read each questions carefully. Each answer should not exceed 1,000 words (4-5 pages).

Once you have answered in the box given, click on "Submit Quiz" on the bottom of the window to
exit the quiz.

You must submit the answers according to the dateline (20th May 2024).

PLEASE NOTE: You WILL BE GIVEN 3 ATTEMPTs. But still, if you wish to retake the quiz, please
request directly to LMS Admin. And only ONE RETAKE is allowed in this case.

a) The following table 1 below contain information related to the major activities of a
research project. Use the information to do the following:

i) Draw a precedence diagram using AOA and AON.


ii) Find the critical path by using AOA.
iii) Determine the expected length of the project.
iv) Draw a Gantt Chart for this project. (20 Marks)

b) The network diagram for a project is shown in the accompanying figures in table 2 below,
with three time estimates for each activity. Activity time are in a weeks. Do the following:
