We use there is and there are to say that something exists. We use there is in singular and there are in
plural. E.g. there is a book. There are two books. a/an-singular some/any-plural
We use some in positive sentences in plural to indicate a small quantity or number. Some+plural noun.
There are some flowers. But we can also use some with uncountable nouns. Some sugar.
We use any in negatives and questions with plural and uncountable nouns to say (none. ) Any+noun.
e.g. I don’t have any friends. I don’t have any rice. Do you have any money in bank?
