Introductory Comments:
̶ Welcome to the ATE 2021 Online Conference! We are excited to have you join us online!
̶ You are in the [SESSION NAME] concurrent session scheduled for [DAY & TIME].
̶ My name is [NAME] and I will be the moderator for our 50 minute session.
̶ Just a few suggestions and tips before I introduce the session presenter.

Helpful Tips:

• The person speaking is the video stream visible by all session participants.
• As moderator I will be monitoring the time. We have 50 minutes for this session.
• I will also be monitoring the Q&A and Chat which can be found on the tabs to the right of the
screen in Whova. The chat feature is only available in Whova.
• If you have a question for the presenter, please type it in the Q&A. I will help convey the
question to the presenter.
• General comments and reflections on the presentation can be typed in the chat.
• Session handouts, related material and resources can be found under Handouts by scrolling
down or taking the link of the presentation at the bottom of the screen.
• Per feedback from the summer conference, we know you have missed connecting formally and
informally with your colleagues. Our Whova platform does just that! We will have additional tips
at the end of this presentation on using Whova to connect with colleagues. So stick around!

̶ Let’s get started. It is my pleasure to introduce [PRESENTER NAME / TITLE / INSTITUTION or ORG] as
the presenter for this session. I will now turn the session over to [PRESENTER NAME] to begin.

Concluding Comments (50 minutes after the top of the hour):

̶ Thank you to [PRESENTER NAME] for today’s presentation.

̶ Thank you to the participants for joining in this session. We hope you enjoy the remainder of ATE’s
2021 Online Conference!
̶ Don’t forget to drop by the Levity Lounge or ATE Café any time from the Home tab on the left side of
the screen and at the end of each day to meet professional colleagues and share highlights from
your ATE 2021 experience.
̶ You can also invite colleagues to a private hallway chat simply to catch up by using the Community
Board.
̶ If you have difficulty with any of these, you can connect with one another in the Attendees Tab, the
Community Board, or any moderator.
̶ We need all session participants to exit this session by taking the red “leave meeting” link in the
bottom right of your video stream so that we can prepare for the next presenter and session
participants.
