    Description: Mix design for cement treated Sub‐base and Base for Roads (Road:MV‐53 to Semiliguda
    in Package No. OR 20‐311) under PMGSY
    TEST RESULTS
    The following are the results obtained from various Tests conducted on the samples supplied by the
    client for Cement Treated Subbase and Base Construction.

    Sample: Moorum (Lateritic Soil/Gravel) and Cement (ACC PSC)

    Recommendations: Based on the above results, it is recommended to add 4% cement by weight of
    mix for construction of cement treated subbase and 8% by weight for cement treated base layer to
    achieve the desired strength. About 20% stone aggregates in base layer may be added for better
    performance. Quality of cement and date of packing should be thoroughly checked before use for
    stabilization. Use vibratory roller for better output.
