Process for Leo Movement
1. PU101 to be uploaded along with Lions Club
2. Schooling to happen along with Lions a. One for Leo Officers b. One for Leo Advisors, Lion Presidents and RCs 3. The Convention for this year will be there for Leos as well as election a. Next Multiple Leo President is from 317A so opening council meeting next year will be from 317A b. Multiple Leo officers will have to be chosen from this years Leo Cabinet 4. Leo Cabinet includes – either present or past presidents a. PST, VP b. GMT, GLT, GST, GET 5. Leo advisors can have only 2 clubs, not more, preferably only one 6. All Leo advisors should be part of BOD and oath taking in every Leo and Lion Installation 7. Leo Pledge and Oath needs to be a part of directory 8. All Leo clubs should have account for service activity and semi-annual audit reports need to be submitted
Meetings
1. All Leo Installations and Induction need to be completed by July 31 in time
for the Cabinet Installation 2. District Leo Officers need to be reported on July 1st or before along with other cabinet of Lions in the system 3. Leo District Presentation should happen with Cabinet Installation 4. Leo Cabinet meeting along with Lions Cabinet Meeting every quarter a. All Leo Officers and Leo Mentor along with DG team and DC for Leo b. Leo Mentor has to be from PDGs 5. DC for Leo needs to be a part of all staff meeting 6. Leadership advancement session for Leos or Annual Leo Conference is must for all Leos of our district 7. Multiple Leo Council meetings – need to be attended. Next year first will be hosted by us 8. Monthly meeting of all Leo Presidents with Leo Officers and DC for Leos needs to happen to ensure smooth rolling of activities 9. Every month MMR and Activity reporting is must for All Leos – Leo Officers should drive this and escalate it to DC for Leo in monthly meeting if they are not getting cooperation 10.Leo club officers need to be part of ZAC, RC Meet and DG Visit programs mandatory
Constitution and Bye Law Changes
1. Leo club formation of termination should require DG permission and DC for
Leo approval 2. Leo club annual fees needs to be levied from district to support activity 3. Leo club should have reported and conducted at least one service activity every month and reported MMR every month to be in good standing to be eligible for awards and voting 4. DG can recommend closure of club based on inputs from DC for Leos to ensure quality of clubs 5. At no point in time the Leo Clubs can have fictitious members in the clubs. All data in the clubs should be current and correct. Leo 50 forms should be submitted during DG visit and can be used for scrutiny during elections 6. All Leo Club Officers should have their own unique mobile number and mail ID in the system, they cannot have anybody else’s 7. Reporting should be done by Leo Advisor or Leo Club Officers only 8. Leo District Elections call should happen along with Lion Convention call 9. DG will be the Credentials committee chairperson and Leo DC will be the coordinator of Credentials Committee 10.Nomination committee, Protocol and Election Committee; etc will be same as Lions committees 11.Leo District Elections will be done on the same basis as of District Elections 12.Credentials will be issued on same lines with Lions protocol 13.Leo District Elections will be done the same way as Lions Elections but only for next year officers, there will be no 2nd VP. Secretary and Treasurer will be nominated. President and 1st VP will be selected 14.In case of no elections DGs call based on nominations received will be final
