Dear Ms. Soto-lnglesias,

This letter serves as a notice that you have been placed on leave with pay status with respect to
your employment as an Accountant II with Jacksonville Housing, effective today, May 8th, 2024.
You will remain in this status until an internal investigation is completed, and you are contacted
by a representative with Jacksonville Housing concerning the results.

Pursuant to Section 1.9 of the Jacksonville Housing's Employment Policy Manual, your
employment is at-will, and should a sufficient time elapse where if we are not able to reach you
and/or we have not heard from you after we have tried to make contact, your employment may
be terminated. Section 1.9 is provided below:

Section 1.9 - Employment-At-Will


Employment with JHA is "at-will". This means that an employee can terminate his or her
employment, or be terminated by JHA, at any time with or without notice. Bargaining unit
members' employment is subject to the terms of the applicable collective bargaining
agreement. Nothing in this manual creates or is intended to create a promise, contract,
or representation of continued employment.

Due to your status as "leave with pay", all Jacksonville Housing Authority equipment currently in
your possession must be surrendered. Including, but not limited to:

Agency Issued Property (if applicable):


• ID Badge
• Key Fob
• Keys
• Laptop
• Cell Phone

Please be aware, your medical, dental, and vision insurance benefits will continue while you are
on leave with pay. You will continue to be covered until such time your annual leave is
exhausted, if applicable. Should you desire to maintain your existing medical and/or health
coverage after your annual leave is exhausted, you will need to make arrangements to pay your
total monthly premium which is $120.68.

coverage. You will need to contact our Compensation & Benefits Administrator, Ms. Crystal
