Nissan X-Trail T31 Removing rear trim panel in boot

Ratchet + extensions

Flat screwdriver
Phillips screwdriver
Refer to: Nissan X-Trail T31 Removing rear seat
Important: The trim panel at the bottom need to be removed first
Installation is the reversal of removal

Bottom panel
Bottom trim panel cannot be totally removed due to part shown below.
Therefore the back seat need to be removed

Unclip the plastic and lift the hook


Remove the 2 hook fasteners at the back and on the side. an plastic together to unscrew the
Use socket or Phillips screwdriver bolt

Insert a screwdriver from the seatbelt side and start Keep on wedging the panel all over until it is loose

Top panel

Remove seatbelt plastic cover and


bolt at top Remove the cigarette
Remove bolt at the bar Remove the plastic hook at the top plug if applicable and
Lift clip and remove screw (Phillips screw to remove) unhook the electrical
wiring Wedge the panel from the back end going all round
X-

Top Panel

Continue all round until it hangs only from the top Pry the panel loose from the top. The metal clip may stay behind.
Remove the clip from body and insert
over the plastic of trim panel
