Mfundi Othandekayo
I-Unisa iyisikhungu semfundo ephakeme esibanzi se-open distance e-learning (CODeL). Ububanzi be-
Kharikhulamu yethu kuhlanganisa izinhlobonhlobo zezifundo, kusukela kwezomsebenzi wezandla kuya
kuzitifiketi zemfundo ephakeme, amadiploma kanye namadigri. "Ukuvuleleka" kwe-Unisa kanye nesici sayo
se-eLearning sebanga kuholela ekutheni abafundi abaningi babhalise e-Unisa okungenzeka ukuthi
abazange balithole ithuba lokubhalisa emfundweni ephakeme. Isici sethu se-CODeL sisho ukuthi izinhlelo
Zethu zihlelwe ngokucophelela futhi zakhiwe ukuze kuqinisekiswe impumelelo yabafundi kusukela
kokungalungiselelwanga kahle kodwa abanamandla kuya kwabalungiselelwe ngokwanele.
Ukufunda nokufundisa kumongo we-CODeL kufaka phakathi izindlela eziningi zokulethwa kusukela
ekufundeni okuxubile kuye ku-inthanethi ngokugcwele. Njengesikhundla simisiwe, zonke izinhlelo ze-post
graduate zinikezwa ngokugcwele ku-inthanethi ngaphandle kwezinsiza zokufunda eziphrinthiwe, kuyilapho
izinhlelo ze-undergraduate zinikezwa ngendlela ehlanganisiwe yokulethwa lapho izinto zokufunda
eziphrinthiwe zengezwe ngokufundisa nokufunda ku-inthanethi ngohlelo lokuphatha abafundi– myUnisa.
Kwezinye izimo, izinhlelo ze-undergraduate zifundiswa ku-inthanethi ngokugcwele.
Ngaphezu kwalokho, izinhlelo zethu zihambisana nombono, inhloso kanye namagugu e-Nyuvesi.
Ukuzinikela kwe-Unisa ekusebenzeleni isintu nokulungisa ikusasa kuhlangene nokwazisa okucacile
nendawo esikuyo ezwenikazi lase-Afrika, abathweswe iziqu e-Unisa banezimfanelo ezihlukile zokuthweswa
iziqu ezihlanganisa

Wonke umfundi kumele aqonde ukuthi i-Unisa yethula izifundo isebenzisa ubuxhakaxhaka (e-tutoring)
kubafundi ababhalisele izifundo ezigabeni zeNQF 5, 6 kanye no 7, lokhu kuchaza ukuthi umfundi okulungele
ukubamba iqhaza ezifundweni (isibonelo, kumele kubekhona abafundi abangu-200 ababhalise kulesi sifundo
ngenxa yokwentuleka kwemithombo yoxhaso) zonyaka wokuqala, nonyaka wesibili kanye nowesithathu.
Uyanxuswa ukuthi ungene kuma myUnisa ukuze uthole ukuthi ingabe zikhona izifundo ozibhalisile ozozifunda
ukuthi zikhona kulo mkhakha.
Uma usubhalisile ukuthi ubambe iqhaza esifundweni owamukelekile ukusifunda, uyobe usufakwa esigungwini
sabafundi ozobe uxoxisana ngokufunda kanye nabo futhi kulekelelwe umsizi womfundisi okungunye ozobe
esizana nawe.
Ukuze umfundi akwazi ukuphothula lezi zifundo kumele alethe imibhalo emibili ngesikhathii sokufunda
ekuqhubekeni konyaka.
Wonke amaphuzu omsebenzi olethiwe neqhaza olibambile umele u80% kube sekuthi u20% wenziwe
umsebenzi wokugcina obhaliwe olethiwe.

Kumele futhi wethule umsebenzi wakho wesibili ukuze ukwazi ukuthola amaphuzu esigamu athi enze u-20%
emaphuzwini akho okugcina. (Izivivinyo ziqukethe u-80% wamaphuzu ukuze ukwazi ukuphumelela kulesi
sifundo).
Ngokomthetho wokuvivinya lapha E-unisa, zimbili iz ezisekhali ezisemqoka zokuvivinya lesifundo: okuyindlela,
yokuvivinya ngendlela ehlelekile, okuyimisebenzi ebhaliwe, kanye nendlela eyenza kubelula, okuyindlela
yokuhlala ubhale izizvivinyo.
Ukulungiselela ukuthumela imisebenzi ebhaliwe iyingxenye futhi ebalulekile kulesi sifundo. Uma uzilungiselela
ukubhala umsebenzi obhaliwe, kumele ufunde kuleso sigatshana sesifundo encwadini yesisekelo sokufunda.
Kumele uhlale uqonda ukuthi lolu lwazi olutholile ngokwenza umsebenzi wakho obhaliwe wokuqala – 01

uzokulekelela kakhulu ekuphumeleleni ukwenza umsebenzi wesibili – 02 kube sekuthi yomibili le misebenzi

Kumele uthumele noma wethule imisebenzi yakho ebhaliwe ngaleso sikhathi esishiwo sokuvala ukuze
ukwazi ukubamba iqhaza noma ingxenye ezivivinyweni. Kumele wethule imisebenzi leyo egunyaziwe
futhi enamaphuzu ngesikhathi esibekiwe ukuze uthole amaphuzu.
Ukwandiswa kwesikhathi sokuthumela umsebenzi obhaliwe kuyinto esemandleni omfundisi lowo oqondene
naleso sifundo futhi kuvamise ukuthi kudingeke nencwadi kadolotela kulabo abafundi abafaka isicelo salokhu.
Okunye okumele kuqondisiswe ukuthi abafundisi bafundisa izifundo ezimbalwa, babambe nocwaningo,
bahambele nemihlangano yokwabelana ngolwazi, bahlale ezigungwini ezahlukene futhi yingakho behlale
benohla olucinene lokuvivinya imisebenzi ebhaliwe. Ngakho-ke ukunikwa kwemvume yokuhlehlisa usuku
lokuthumela umsebenzi obhaliwe akusiyona into ephoqelekile. Uma wethula umsebenzi wakho ngesikhathi
esedlule kunaleso ebesinqunyiwe, nganoma yisiphi isizathu – ukwenza lokho ngokuzifaka engcupheni kanye
nolwazi lokuthi ungase ungakwazi ukubamba iqhaza kwiZivivinyo noma/mhlawumbe nokuthola amaphuzu
afanele ukuthola amaphuzu amahle onyaka (okusho ukuthi afaka u-20% emaphuzwini okugcina ezivivinyo

Amaphuzu athi athole ukubaluleka emisebenzi ebhaliwe enza u-20% emaphuzwini okugcina. Kube sekuthi

• Uma ufinyelela isayithi yakho ye-myModules yemojuli/yamamojuli wakho owabhalisele, uzobona umlayezo
wokwamukela othunyelwe umfundisi wakho. Ngezansi komlayezo wokwamukela uzobona amagobolondo
okuhlola, okuhlola okudingeka uwaqedele. Okunye ukuhlola kungase kube ukukhetha okuningi, okunye
ukuhlola, okunye ukuhlola okubhaliwe, ezinye izingxoxo zezinkundla, njalo njalo. Konke ukuhlola kufanele

Zonke izinsuku kanye nezikhathi zezivivinyo ziyokwethulwa Umnyango wezivivinyo. Umnyango wezivivinyo

Izivivinyo zephepha le-AFC1501 zithatha ukusukela emahoreni amabili ukuya kwamane. Iphepha lesivivinyo
lehlukene ngemibuzo emihlanu (ehambisana nemibuzo emincane). Kulindeleke ukuthi uphendule imibuzo

iqinisekise ubuqotho bayo bokuhlola ngokusebenzisa amathulusi okuhlola ahlukahlukene: i-Turnitin, i-Moodle
Proctoring, i-Invigilator App kanye ne- IRIS. Lawa mathulusi azoqinisekisa ubunikazi bomfundi kanye
nokumaka ukuziphatha okusolisayo ukuze kuqinisekiswe ukwethembeka kwezimpendulo zabafundi phakathi
nokuhlolwa. Incazelo engezansi ingeyenzuzo yakho njengoba ungase uhlangabezane nanoma yikuphi noma
zonke lezi kumamojuli akho abhalisiwe:
I- software ye-Turnitin yokukopela esiza ukuthi ihlole ukuthi kwangempela okuthunyelwe kwabafundi
ngkumelene nemithombo yangaphakathi nengaphandle. I-Turnitin isiza ekuboneni ukukhwabanisa
kwezemfundo kanye nokubhala okuyizipoki. Abafundi kulindeleke ukuthi balethe izimpendulo ezithayiphiwe
ukuze kusetshenziswe i- software ye-Turnitin.
Ithulusi le-Moodle Proctoring tool liqaphela ubuso lifakazela ubuqiniso babafundi ngesikhathi sokuhlolwa
kwemibuzo. Leli thulusi lidinga ukufinyelela kukhamera yeselula noma yekhompuyutha ephathekayo
yomfundo. Abafundi kufanele baqinisekise ukuthi ikhamera yabo yenziwe yasebenza kuzilungiselelo zabo
zesiphuqululi ngaphambi kokuhlolwa kwabo.
Umqaphi “Isevisi esekelwe kuhlelo lokusebenza lweselula iyaqinisekisa” iqinisekisa ubunikazi bomuntu
ohlolwayo. I-Invigilator Mobile Application ithola ukungathembeki komfundi ngamunye futhi iqinisekisa ukuthi
umfundi ohlolwayo ungumfundi obhalisiwe. Leli thulusi lokuqapha lidinga abafundi ukuthi balande uhlelo
lokusebenza ku-Play Store (Google, Huawei and Apple) kumadivayisi abo leselula (ikhamera inikwe amandla)
ngaphambi kokuhlolwa kwabo.
I- software IRIS Invigilation iqinisekisa ukuthi ungubani umfundi ngesikhathi sokuhlolwa futhi ihlinzekela
kokubili ukuqinisekiswa kobuso okwenziwa ngesandla nokuzenzakalelayo. Inekhono lokurekhoda
nokubuyekeza iseshini yokuhlola yomfundi. Ihlaba umkhosi kuqapheleka ukuziphatha okusolisayo kwabafundi
ukuze kubuyekezwe umlawuli wezemfundo. I- software ye-IRIS idinga ukufakwa kumadivayisi aphathekayo
ekhompuyutha yabafundi anikwe amandla ngekhamera yewebhu.
Abafundi abahlonzwa futhi bamakwe ngokungathembeki okusolisayo okuvela ngenxa yemibiko yokugadwa
kanye neyokulandelwa kwe-proctoring badluliselwa ehhovisi lokuqondiswa kwezigwegwe ukuze
kuqhutshekwe ngokusemthethweni.
