Past tense of regular verb refers to actions or events done in the past. They can be
simply added with a "d" or an "ed" in the base form of verb.
Other regular verbs form their past tense by doubling the last letter of the base form
then add “ed”.

Adverb of Degree
An adverb is a word that describes or modifies a verb, an adjective, or another
adverb.
If an adverb answers the questions how or it tells us about up to what extent
the action was, this adverb is called Adverb of Degree or Intensity.
Adverbs of degree or intensity modify adjectives, verbs and other adverbs.
They also tell us about the intensity or degree of an action, an adjective or another
adverb.
There are common examples of adverb of degree or intensity. These are
slowly, well, carefully, almost, quiet, nearly, too, extremely, enough, just, hardly,
often, very etc.
Adverbs of degree are usually placed before the main verb, adjective and
adverb they modify.

The Cellphone

Annie has three children named Vhianne, Vhine and Vhiña. Her three children have
their own cellphone and uses them regularly. Annie always reminds them not to depend too
much on their gadget.
Since when they were given cellphones the three sisters daily help their mother doing
household chores. They often ask mother what to do. During the vacation Daddy monitored
their usage hourly. They never exceeded the set hour of usage. But some applications and
movies sometimes brought the sister to be addictive.
One day, the three sisters later changed their being helpful to being annoyed whenever
mother asked them something to do. Thus, mother constantly reminded them that they should
not wait for their Daddy to collect their cellphone. Eventually, they listened to their mother.
The sisters then do household chores and uses their cellphones at occasionally.

One day, Marie and her mother were walking slowly to the market. They carefully
followed the social distancing protocol. They bought some vegetables and bread for the

Adverbs of place always talk about the location where the action of the verb is being
carried out. They are normally placed after a sentence’s object or main verb.
For example: Below, between, above, behind, through, around, and so forth.
Adverbs of time tell when something happened or will happen. They express a point in
time.
