b) Physical / chemical Hazards Not to be mixed w ith strong acids, strong abses strong oxidizers & reducers
,amines,mercaptans .Corrosive to skin & other parts of body .Skin sensitizer
1. Skin Remove contaminated clothing. Wash skin thoroughly w ith soap and w ater.
2. Eyes Flush eyes liberally w ith low -pressure water for at least 15 minutes, lift the eyelids
occasionally to aid in removal of material.
3. Inhalation. Immediately move personnel to area of fresh air. For respiratory distress, give air,
oxygen or administer CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), if necessary. Obtain
medical attention immediately
4. Ingestion Rinse mouth w ith w ater. Do not induce vomiting unless directed by medical personnel.

3. Unusual fire & explosion hazards Product is not flammable as such ,butmay be combustible at high temperatures & fire upon
loss of w ater
Environmental precautions Do not flush into surface area or sanitary sewer system, use absorbent like sand or
absorbent materials, saw dust, waste cotton etc. to contain spill prevent material from
entering soil and w aterways.
Storage conditions Store in a cool enclosed place. Avoid repeated freeze – thaw cycles .Keep away from
acids ,alkalies, calcium hypochlorite
2. Skin & body protection Where splashing is possible, fully chemical resistant protective light w eight clothing
(chemical resistant apron) and safety boots are required.
3. Respiratory protection An approved respirator must be w orn, if the occupational exposure limit is likely to be
exceeded, filter type A/P –3.
Conditionsto Avoid: Keep aw ay fromfreezing. Corrosive to metal.. Strong acids, strong bases, strong oxidisers,
reducing agents, amines & mercaptans
Hazardous de-composition products As such not combustible . At high temp & in case of fire may product oxides of
sulphur,nitrogen & hydrogen chloride
