Lucky Big Feet

Caroline always had a problem when she went to buy shoes. She had big feet. She had to go
to many shops before she could find shoes her size. Her feet were bigger than her two younger
sisters, Ann and Lucy. They often teased her and called her ‘Big Feet’.
In the beginning, Caroline used to get very upset with her sisters. She would cry and
complain to her mother. However, her mother advised her to take it lightly as they were only teasing
her and meant no harm. Later, Caroline got used to their teasing and laughed along with them.
One day, her mother took the three of them shopping. Caroline saw the most beautiful pair of
shoes in a shop. It was decorated with beautiful shiny stones and looked very elegant and stylish. All
the girls wanted to buy a pair each. The salesgirl told them that the pair display was the last pair and
it was on offer as it was a bigger size. To Caroline’s joy, the shoes could fit her perfectly. Her sisters
were disappointed.
Caroline happily tried on the pair of beautiful shoes. She was happy that her ‘big feet’ had
helped her get beautiful shoes at a good price. Caroline’s mother told Ann and Lucy not to laugh at
