This is a story about Mat Jenin who loved to daydream. After he picked fifty coconuts and while
resting comfortably on a coconut palm leaf, Mat Jenin started to daydream. The money from
selling the coconuts would be used to buy twenty chicken eggs, once hatched to be sold for goats
and later sold the goats for some cows and a horse.

While riding on the horse he met with a princess and they rode the horse together. While
galloping, the horse suddenly stumbled. Mat Jenin opened his eyes and found himself floating in
the air on the palm leaf. He made a safe landing and a neighbour who witnessed the incident
said, "Only hard works pays. Daydreaming only brings disaster".

Mersing, Mon. - A thirty-five year old father died at the hospital after trying to protect his son
from being bitten by a snake in Kampung Mersing Kanan.
S.Suman and his son, Vinod, 11 were resting in their garden in front of their house when
something was seen moving in the bushes at 3.45 p.m. yesterday.
Vinod said his father stood up and walked to the bushes, trying to see what was inside the
bushes. As his father was about to look into the bushes, suddenly a snake came out of the bushes
and bit him. Vinod's father was unable to step back and avoid the attack. The snake's bite made
his father unconscious.
The family members took immediate action by bringing S.Suman to the nearest clinic.
The doctor at the clinic, however advised them to bring S.Suman to the hospital for further
treatment since his condition was getting worse.
The family and the victim finally reached at the hospital. The paramedics wasted no time
to save the life of S.Suman. S.Suman was given the necessary treatment in the I.C.U. (Intensive
Care Unit). Unfortunately, he died after being treated for half an hour at the hospital.
