Job Description:
• To prepare the job description, indicate line of authority, responsibility in the relationship &
channels of communication by means of organizational chart & other methods.

• Providing safe, competent, individualized holistic care to critically ill patients requiring
continuous monitoring.
• Delegating assignments according to staff level.
• Supervising clinical practices of staff.
• Take prompt and appropriate action in any emergency situation.
• Help team members in carrying out complex procedures e.g. intubation and extubation, swan
ganz insertion and monitoring, arterial line and central venous pressure line insertion and

• Assist physicians in cardiac arrest, arranging manpower, material and equipment at time of
disaster and other emergencies.
• Provide holistic care for post anesthesia patients, both ventilated and extubated critical patients.
