I. PROJECT SUMMARY
A. Project Background
December is the Christmas season, the time to give thanks for all the
blessings that the Lord has given us. One way of showing gratitude to our
Creator is to share our graces to others especially to those who are greatly in
need. Since there are many students in our school that are from less fortunate
families, Project SAYA was created. Through this activity, some selected
students will receive grocery items that they can use during the Christmas
Day or their daily life.

them to selected JHS students.
Through this project, many students who have less in life will be able to feel
the love, care, and support of their JSHS Family and will be more motivated to
study in spite of their financial situation. This activity serves as an inspiration to
others, especially those who have more in life, to share their blessings in order to
help those in need.

The tables above show the number of beneficiaries who received the grocery
packs. All of them got noodles, canned goods, coffee, bread, and rice in their
packages. They received them with much joy and gratitude towards the JSHS
Community. The EsP teachers were so blessed the see the smiles, some with tears
of joy, on their eyes and faces.
The Project SAYA indeed gave joy and inspiration to many, not only to the
beneficiaries, but also to the JSHS community. A lot of people in need were given
grocery packs that they can use and consume in their daily life especially this season
of Christmas. Hence, the continuation of the implementation of this project is highly
recommended.
