Mathematics
1. “Traveling- It leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller.” Ibn Battuta
Make a Travel Journal of all the places you visit this summer. It must include
description of your feelings and thoughts of your experiences. Also, add
pictures along with your writing task.

2. Read a novel of Charles Dickens and Jane Austen prepare a presentation of
English author’s profile, book’s profile, themes, characterization, synopsis and
description of places, people and feelings.

3. Download vocabulary building app by magoosh! from play store or apple store
and complete all the levels. Take a screenshot of the final level and attach it’s
print with your task.

Task 2:
To study the effect of temperature on Diffusion
Food coloring added to a glass or jar of water will diffuse through water until all of
the water is colored. Pour water into a jar and let it sit until all movement of the
water has stopped. Add the food coloring one drop at a time so you can see the
drop of color slowly spread out throughout the water. Do the same experiment with
one jar of hot water and one jar of cold water to see the effect of temperature on
diffusion. If the water is still moving, another form of mixing called convection will
carry the food coloring around the jar much faster than diffusion

Task 4:
To study the crystallization of soluble salt.
(commonly used table salt can be used)
1. Take two table spoons of salt.
2. Add water to its solution.
3. Put it in an open container
4. Leave it for one day to let water to evaporate.
5. Observe the formed crystals
Portfolio: A portfolio will be prepared where we will keep a complete and thorough
record of your revision worksheets and observations of above mentioned activities.

This long-term project introduces students to map allocation practice for various
natural and man-made landscapes of Pakistan. Students will be compiling a
scrapbook of Map of Pakistan using separate map outline for each allocation.
