The file is all about a video ad or commercial. This video is about
showcasing the beauty of the Philippines.

What were your observations


on sound design in the video?
There were clean sound effects for the water and waves. The
background music overall was uplifting.

How do you think sound


impacted the visuals and
cinematography of the video
ad?
Without the music and the sound effects, the video ad will be
dull and boring. The essence of a video ad is to capture the
attention of the viewers. That’s why sound design must be very
great and effective. The sound effects of the waves, nature, and
especially the background music really match the whole video
ad or commercial.

What was the file all about?


This audio file is an immersive sound set in a virtual barbershop

What were your observations


on sound design in the video?
You are able to hear your surroundings by the use of simple
noises, and these sounds allow you to assume that the events
that you are hearing are truly taking place because of the
immersiveness of the sounds that you are hearing.

It's all just sounds, but they allow you to hear the audio and
noises that are occurring in the space. The sounds help you
experience what's going on.

can we use immersive sounds?
The most efficient way to use immersive sounds would be via
movies, games, and businesses. Why movies? Because it will
enable you to feel every environment as if you are also in the
movie. Why business? It can be used when you're marketing a
new product. And why games? Because sounds will aid a lot in
making it more immersive.

What was the file all about?


The audio file was an audiobook of "The Tumor" by John
Grisham. It narrated a story of Paul who is a father, husband,
and an employee that suffers from a brain tumor.

Why do you think audiobook is


beneficial and convenient to the
users?
Multitasking and giving opportunities for visually impaired
people are the advantages of audiobooks.

Do you think audio books will be


normalized in the next few
years? Why or why not?

Audiobook has been widely accepted and welcomed in the


reading community for so long. Although it could be that it is
uncommon in many places, it is foreseeable to become more
considered and normal in the future given its advantages.

Share your observations and


your recommendations for
improvements.
Audiobooks are amazing on their own, however, it could
transform the whole experience if there are different people
portraying different characters to convey more effective
dialogues. The addition of ambient or background sounds and
effects can make a more immersive narrative.

What was the file all about?


This file is all about sound therapy, it also referred to as sound
healing or vibrational therapy, is an alternative form of therapy
that makes use of sound vibrations to help people feel better
and get back in balance.

What were your observations in


sound design in the video?
Rhythmic instruments are frequently used to give the sound
methods of treatment. Gongs, monochord, tuning forks, crystal
pyramids, drums, Himalayan and crystal singing bowls, and
tuning forks are some of the tonal instruments used.

What do you think is the impact


of sounds in the mental and
physical health and well-being
of a person?
Decreasing stress is among the biggest advantages of sound
therapy for a person. Additionally, it can make our evenings
sleep better. Some people who receive sound therapy
experience great healing when the sound vibrations balance,
open, and clear their chakras and release formed energy.
