Applications are invited online only by ‘One Time Registration’ from qualified
candidates for the under mentioned Post. Applications shall be submitted through the
official website of Commission (www.keralapsc.gov.in) after ONE TIME
REGISTRATION. Candidates who have registered can apply through their profile.
Candidates who have AADHAR card should add AADHAR as ID proof in their
Profile.

Note i:- The above vacancies are now in existence. The List of selected candidates
published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force for
a minimum period of one year provided that the said list will continue to be in force
till the publication of a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or
till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised from the
said list against the vacancies may be reported to the commission during the period of
currency of list.

Only candidates born between 2.1.1989
and 1.1.2000 (both dates included) are
eligible to apply for this post with usual
relaxation to Scheduled Castes,
Scheduled Tribes and other Backward
communities. (For Other conditions
regarding age relaxation please see
para(2) of the General conditions).

Note ii:- In the case of difference in original caste/community claimed in the


applications and that entered in SSLC book, the candidate shall produce a gazette
notification in this regard along with Noncreamy layer certificate/caste certificate
issued by competent revenue authority, at the time of verification.

7. Qualifications:-

a) Educational :- A Degree in Zoology or Botany or Forestry or Veterinary Science


from a University, Institution or Deemed University recognized by Government of India
or Government of Kerala .

Note iv:- Candidates who claim equivalent qualification instead of qualification
mentioned in the notification shall produce the relevant Government order to
prove the equivalency at the time of verification, then only such qualification
shall be treated as equivalent to the prescribed qualification concerned.

b) Physical Qualification
I) Male candidates must not be less than 168 cm in height and 81cm round the chest
and must have a chest expansion of 5cm on full inspiration.
ii) Female candidates must not be less than 157cm in height.
iii) Minimum height and chest Measurement for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe
male and female candidates shall be 160 cm and 150 cm respectively. The minimum
chest expansion of 5 cm shall however be applicable for male scheduled caste and
scheduled tribe candidates.

Male candidates must qualify any of the five events out of the eight specified for men in
the National Physical Efficiency One star Standard Test shown as below.

iv). All candidates must possess medical standards shown as below:-

1. Ear - Hearing should be perfect
2. Eye - Must be Certified to possess visual standards specified below
without glasses.
(a) Distant vision - 6/6 snellen
(b) Near vision - 0.5 snellen
(c) Colour vision - Normal
(d)Night blindness - Nil
3. Muscles and Joints - No paralysis and all joints with free movements

4. Nervous system - Perfectly normal, free from any infectious diseases

8.Training:- Wild life Assistant Grade-II appointed by direct recruitment shall undergo
training in any of the forest Training Schools or institutions recognized by the
Government for a period not less than one year .

(i) During the period of training the trainees shall be paid with Basic pay and other
admissible allowances.

(ii) The cost of training including Travelling allowances at the rate admissible to them
for journeys and tours performed by them in connection with the training shall be borne
by the Government.

(iii) The period of training shall be counted for leave and pension.

(iv) Those who do not complete successful training during the probation period will
be terminated or discharged from service.

Note:- 1) The Physical measurement of candidates will be taken at the time of Physical
efficiency test . If accidents or injuries happen to a candidate, while
participating in the Physical Efficiency Test, he/she will not be given further
chance to participate in the test.
2) Candidates should produce a Medical Certificate in original certifying to
their
physical fitness and eye sight without glasses, not below the rank of an
Assistant
Surgeon at the time of certificate verification.

3) Differently Abled persons are not eligible to apply for this post.

9. Mode of sending application:

Candidates must register as per ‘ONE TIME REGISTRATION’ with the official Website
of Kerala Public Service Commission www.keralapsc.gov.in before applying for the
post. Candidates who have registered can apply by logging on to their profile using their
User-ID and password. Candidates must click on the ‘Apply Now’ button of the
respective posts in the Notification Link to apply for a post. The Photograph uploaded
should be one taken on or after 31/12/2010. Name of the candidate and the date of taking
photograph should be printed at the bottom portion. The photograph once uploaded
meeting all requirements shall be valid for 10 years from the date of uploading. There is
no change in other instructions regarding the uploading of photographs. No application
fee is required. Candidates shall take a printout of the application by clicking the link
Registration Card in their profile. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the
personal information and secrecy of password. Before the final submission of the
application on the profile candidates must ensure correctness of the information on their
profile. They must quote the User-ID for further communication with the Commission.
Application submitted is provisional and cannot be deleted or altered after submission.
The application will be summarily rejected if noncompliance with the notification is
found in due course of processing. Documents to prove qualification, Experience,
Community, age etc have to be produced as and when called for.

10. Appropriate Disciplinary action as per Rules of procedure Rule 22 shall be


initiated against those candidates who submit applications with bogus claims of
qualification regarding education, experience etc and submit confirmation for writing
examination irrespective of whether they are present or absent for the examination

13. If Written Test/OMR Test/Online Test is conducted as a part of this selection


candidate shall submit a confirmation for writing the examination through their
One Time Registration Profile. Such candidates alone can generate and download
the admission tickets in the last fifteen days till the date of test. The applications
of candidate who do not submit confirmation within the stipulated period will be
rejected absolutely. The periods regarding the submission of confirmation and the
availability of admission tickets will be published in the examination calendar
itself. Information in this regard will be given to the candidates in their respective
profiles and in the mobile phone number registered in it. Candidates who have
downloaded the Admission Ticket will alone be permitted to attend the
examination.
