TUTORIAL 2-1: Analyze the State of Steam


Instruction: Answer all question

1. Find the specific enthalpy, specific volume and specific entropy of saturated gas at 30
bar
2. Find the specific enthalpy and specific internal energy of saturated water at 50 bar.
3. For steam at 22 bar with dryness fraction of 0.9, calculate the specific volume, specific
enthalpy and specific internal energy.
4. Find the dryness fraction, specific enthalpy and specific internal energy of steam at
175 bar and specific entropy of 4.832 kJ/kgK
5. Find the dryness fraction, specific volume and specific enthalpy of steam at 10 bar and
specific internal energy 2480 kJ/kg. Locate the point on the P – v diagram.
