and talented learners.

C. LESSON PROPER

First, we’re going to discuss the definitions


of giftedness.

The diverse definitions given to giftedness


can be placed under five categories.

1. After-the-fact Definitions - Those


who consistently perform
outstandingly and achieve in a
valuable area.
2. IQ Definitions - Those who get a
score above a certain cutoff point in
an intelligence test.
3. Percentage Definitions - Those who
belong to fixed proportion that a
school or district sets. Ma’am!
4. Talent Definitions - Those who excel
in a specific aesthetics. Being gifted means that one is better, or
