    B. PRESENTATION OF THE LESSON

    Based on the activity that we did, our lesson


    for today is all about the types,
    characteristics, and identification of gifted
    and talented learners.

    C. LESSON PROPER

    First, we’re going to discuss the definitions


    of giftedness.

    The diverse definitions given to giftedness


    can be placed under five categories.

    1. After-the-fact Definitions - Those


    who consistently perform
    outstandingly and achieve in a
    valuable area.
    2. IQ Definitions - Those who get a
    score above a certain cutoff point in
    an intelligence test.
    3. Percentage Definitions - Those who
    belong to fixed proportion that a
    school or district sets. Ma’am!
    4. Talent Definitions - Those who excel
    in a specific aesthetics. Being gifted means that one is better, or
    5. Creativity Definitions – Those who very good in certain skills.
    possess superior creative abilities.
