collected, what will be the sample size and how data is to be analyze.
SAMPLING
The researcher utilized non-probability sampling, especially purposive sampling and this type of
sampling use people who are sure could correspond to the objectives of the study, like selecting
those with rich experience or interest in the study
There are 80 students who are currently enrolled at Science Technology Engineering and
Mathematics (STEM) strand. The researcher computed based on the population size, the sampling
confidence level of (75%) confidence and the margin of error of (25%) after the computation done to
get the sample respondents. The researcher the 30 from Science Technology Engineering and
Mathematics (STEM) Zeus and 30 from Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM)-

RRL
The study examined the impact of peer pressure on the study habits of selected Grade 12 students
in a public high school in the Philippines. The researchers used a survey questionnaire to collect data
from 150 participants and analyzed the data using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results
showed that peer pressure had a significant impact on the study habits of the students, with peer
influence being the most common factor affecting their study habits. The study recommends that
educators and parents should provide positive reinforcement to students and teach them to resist
negative peer pressure.Jomarie M. Llames (2020)
This study investigated the effects of peer pressure on the habit-forming behavior of academically
competent students. The study involved a sample of 100 high school students who were assessed
using a survey questionnaire. The results revealed that peer pressure had a significant impact on the
habit-forming behavior of academically competent students. Specifically, the students were more
likely to engage in positive habit-forming behaviors when they received support and encouragement
from their peers. On the other hand, negative peer pressure had a detrimental effect on the habit-
forming behavior of the students. The study recommends that educators and parents should provide
positive reinforcement to students and teach them to resist negative peer pressure. Marsha L. T.
