a. identify common signal words used in writing directions. (Cognitive)
b. use the signal words to write directions. (Psychomotor)
c. exhibit understanding on use of signal words to write directions. (Affective)

Our lesson for today is all about Writing


Direction Using Signal Words.

Signal Words Read the signage found on this


garden. What do they tell? The signages on the
picture give directions. Directions provide us
information in doing something. They are given
in different ways. There are one-step, two-step,
and three-to fourstep directions.
Examples:
One-step direction
Get the book on the table.

Two-step directions.
Get the book and give it to Ana.

Three-to four step directions.


First, get the book on the table.Then, open on
page 50. Lastly, read the story silently.

Sequence words or signal words are used to


give the order of the directions. Signal words No, Sir.

How to Prepare a Calamansi Juice

directions you must:

c. give the directions step by step.

camping at the beach. The scoutmaster took
them to the clinic. The doctor gave them an
ointment with the following directions:
