b. Activity (Motivation) The teacher will introduce lesson through an introductory activity. By completing
this activity, learners will have some idea on what is our topic all about.
Directions:
1. Divide the class into four groups and give flashcards containing the problem
for every group.
2. Prepare a yell for every group.
3. Each group must list down all the possible combinations in the given
problem.
4. The first group that finished the activity will shout a yell for their team.

Activity: “COMBINE ME”
Kisha wants to invite BSEMATH-A2021for an ice

cream party and she sends an invitation card for them. The local vendor has a special
offer where you can order two of three types of ice cream: strawberry, chocolate,
and vanilla. The ice cream is served in either a cone or a cup. How many
combinations result from choosing two types of flavors? List down the possible
combinations.
c. Analysis The teacher will ask the students the following questions about the activity.
