Raxell to lead us a short prayer.

Thank you Raxell, you may all sit down.

Are there any absentees for today?

Very good! Give yourself a round of applause

for the perfect attendance.

Let me present classroom rules.

Review of Past Lessons

Before we start let’s have a quick activity. This

entitled

Activity 1: Identify and save me!

Let me group you into two groups. So this is
group 1 and this is group 2.
What will you do is to choose letters from the
alphabet on the right to identify the word/s
below that defined by the phrases above.
I have here a coin and each group will
choose a side. After tossing the coin the
group who guess the right side will have a
chance to answer the following questions.
They have to guess the right letters before
the snowman melt. If the snowman melts and
they don’t find the word the other teams can
steal the chance.

Lets have a practice.

(Present 1st statement)
So are you ready class?

Can I have 3 big clap if your really ready.

Okay lets start.

So our topic for today is about Compound

events. Let me read our objective for today.

lesson b. Classify the events as simple and
compound;
c. Demonstrate active participation in class
discussion.

Class, who can give me one example of

experiment? Yes, Khatelyn?

Very good! Give me other example King.

Very good! Now if this two are examples of

experiment what are their sample space?

Yes Baby Jane?

C. Presenting
examples/ Very good. when we are conducting an
instances of experiment there are sets of possible
the lesson outcomes and these are called sample space,
whereas any outcome is called event. Thus,
we can say an event is a subset of a sample
space.

We have two kinds of events the simple event

and compound event.

Simple event is an event which consists of

one outcome, while compound event has two
or more outcomes.
