Saudi Telecom and Etihad Etisalat

Saudi Telecom Company (STC) is the largest telecommunications network operator in

Saudi Arabia, as well as one of the largest operators in the area. Mobile and fixed phone services,

and also Internet access and other data services, are available to both residential and business

customers. With the help of STC's Jawal and Hatif underwater cable systems, Saudi Arabia and

Sudan in Africa are linked together by the Arab Submarine Cables Company (Bagadeem, 2021).

Currently, the company's principal market is the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Saudi Telecom

Company’ mission is to create a world-class digital services and platforms, which will assist the

Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region in its digital transformation. The company also

aims at providing the community with effective services by giving service users greater depth

and riches of information through the telecommunication services.

Etihad Etisalat Company is a member of the Wired and Wireless Telecommunications

Carriers industry, which is a branch of the telecommunications sector. The company was founded

by Royal Decree No. M/40 on August 18, 2004. This factory employs a total of 6,250

individuals who work for Etihad Etisalat Company (Omri and Akrimi, 2021). The company

earns $3.75 billion in annual sales (USD). The corporate family of the Etihad Etisalat Company

is made up of three distinct legal entities. The company’s mission is to create a world in which

communication is not limited by physical barriers such as distance or matter, by establishing way

to intercept encrypted data sent over the internet via Twitter, Viber, and other mobile apps, and

bypass SSL and TLS security measures. The company aims at promoting a cross-border
