Based on your experience and knowledge, answer the following questions:

1. Which medium do households all over the Philippines most commonly own?
- The most common medium owned by households all over the Philippines is a mobile phone. Mobile phones
have become an essential tool for communication in the Philippines, they are used for sending text messages,
making calls, and accessing social media and messaging apps. Many Filipinos use their mobile phones to access
the internet, which allows them to search for information, check their email, and access online.

2. Which medium do households least commonly own all over the Philippines?
- The medium that households least commonly own all over the Philippines is a desktop computer. This may be
due to the fact that desktop computers are generally more expensive and less portable than laptops or tablets,
which makes them less accessible to many households. In addition, many households may prefer to use mobile
phones for basic computing tasks, such as checking email and browsing the internet, which reduces the need
for a desktop computer.

3. Which medium are most Filipinos exposed to?


- The medium that most Filipinos are exposed to varies depending on several factors such as age, location,
socioeconomic status, and personal preferences. However, based on available data, it can be said that
television is still the most dominant and widely used medium in the Philippines,

4. Which medium are most Filipinos least exposed to?


- Based on available data, it can be said that the medium that most Filipinos are least exposed to is print
media, particularly newspapers and magazines. This may be due to the fact that print media is often perceived
as less accessible and less convenient compared to other media, particularly digital media such as social media
and online news websites. In addition, the cost of purchasing print media may be a factor, particularly for
households with lower incomes.

5. Which medium to they depend on the most for information on current events/issues?
- Television remains the primary source of news and information on current events and issues for Filipinos
according to research, television is widely available and accessible in the Philippines, with many households
owning a television set and a large number of free-to-air and cable TV channels to choose from. News
programs are also regularly aired on television, providing viewers with a wide range of coverage on current
events and issues.

communication technology on development.

1. Job discrepancy
- The impact of new communication technology on job discrepancy can be both positive and negative. On the
one hand, new communication technologies have the potential to create new job opportunities and improve
efficiency in many industries. However, they can also lead to job displacement, as automation and artificial
intelligence are increasingly used to replace human workers. This can result in a growing job discrepancy
between those who have the skills and training to work with new communication technologies and those who
do not.
