1.kulintang ensemble - Gong-based ensemble used by the Maguindanao and Maranao of Western Mindanao, the Tausug , the Yakan and the Sama-
Bajao of the Sulu Archipelago
2. Agung- is a set of two wide-rimmed, based-gongs hangs from horizontal pole or wooden frame.
3. Gabbang- is also known as bamboo xylophone , is a musical instrument made of bamboo widely used in southern Philippines.
4. Kutyapi/kudyapi- is two-stringed instrument in the shape of a boat played like a lute or guitar. It is common among Mindanao indigenous groups and
goes by many names. This example no longer has its strings and fingerboards.
5. Seronggagandi- Decorated bamboo tube, closed by a node at both ends.Two strings cut free and lifte by bamboo sticks and connected by wooden
bridge (or’ platform’). The bridge is situated over a hole which makes the tube a resonator.
6. Suling- it is made mainly of “tamiang” bamboo, a long thin-walled bamboo tube. The mouthpiece of the suling is circled with a thin band made of
rattan near a small hole.
