The Douglas Anderson #107 Alumni Association will award four $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors in Duval County, Florida. One scholarship each will be awarded for education, the arts, community service, and leadership. Students must have a minimum 3.5 GPA or 3.0 unweighted GPA and SAT score of 1000 or ACT of 22 to qualify. Douglas Anderson #107 Alumni Association, Inc. will award four $1,000.00 scholarships to deserving seniors who will graduate from a Duval County, Florida high school this year and attend an accredited college or university this fall. The Queen Elected Officers Elizabeth Bruton Scholarship for Education will be awarded to a graduating senior who attends a Historically Black College or University. The Sadie Jeffers Memorial Schol- Garry A. Merritt arship for the Arts will be awarded to a graduating senior who has matriculated in a President program of the Arts. The Nathaniel S. Washington Scholarship for Community Service will be awarded to a graduating senior who has demonstrated outstanding community Eddie J. Brown service. The Samuel Davis Jr. Scholarship for Leadership will be awarded to a gradu- Vice President ating senior who has demonstrated a history of Leadership. The members of the Flora Greene Coleman Scholarship Committee are soliciting your help in identifying students who qualify. Secretary Please provide an application packet to those students.
