The role
Working closely with the Senior Content and Communications Manager, the Marketing Manager will
support the delivery of initiatives that will:
Duties include:
• Managing Austrade Jakarta’s social media channels, including planning, content creation and
monitoring performance and analytics.
• Creating marketing collateral in accordance with the Australian Nation Brand guidelines to support
the individual sectoral teams with their outreach.
• Managing vendor procurement and contracts for marketing functions such as paid campaigns;
video production and creative Ads/infographics.
• Contributing to all phases of planning through delivery of trade missions, investor roundtables,
ministerial and other high profile visits. This includes logistics and event planning.
• Capturing market insights and trends across key industries and assisting to identify future trends.
• Using the latest research, analysis tools and corporate analysis to deliver target lists of companies
that fit within Austrade’s trade and investment strategy.
• Work Authorisation - to be eligible for employment with Austrade in Indonesia, candidates must
be legally authorised to live and work in Indonesia at the time of appointment.
• Language - the successful candidate must be a highly motivated team member, fluent in written
and spoken English and Bahasa
• Security Clearance - the successful applicant must be willing to complete an Entry Level
Screening Pack and be confirmed as a suitable person to access Government resources prior to
commencement in the role.

• Highly fluent in both written and spoken English and Bahasa with excellent written
communication and presentation skills
• Experience or ability to work in a highly networked organisation with minimal supervision.
• Experience and understanding of the digital marketing landscape (social media, virtual events
and Ads analytics)
• Experience developing and delivering campaigns and events – both online and offline
• Track record of successfully managing vendors
• Understanding of artwork / layout / design concepts and design programs (Canva, Adobe suite
of products Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign)
• Ability to create presentations and content, including data storytelling and data visualization
• Knowledge or experience in undertaking desk research to help shape marketing strategies
• International experience is not essential but is preferred
• Awareness of the digital environment and how to engage with clients in a digital first manner.
• Confidently use digital workplace tools to solve problems, be productive, connect and
collaborate with others.
