1. General Description
TOKYU-STA. CLARA JOINT VENTURE (hereinafter referred to as “TSJV”) is participating in the
Tender for Davao City Bypass Construction Project, Contract Package I-3, Sta. 23+500 to
Sta.29+700 and if awarded, to perform construction works.
This Environmental Management Plan (EMP) for the Contract demonstrates systems and
procedures to ensure that controls are established and maintained to manage potential
environmental and social impacts during the project construction.
The purpose of this EMP is to define a standard and method for the control of
environmental pollution and the management of nuisance, resultant from the construction.
1.1 Documentation Compliance
The environmental aspects will comply with:
1) The Contractual obligations set out in Technical Specification mentioned in Clause B14
of Bidding Documents Volume-II Technical Specification Section IV: Special Provisions
and Supplemental Specifications;
2) ISO 14001:2015 ─ Environmental Management Systems;
3) The Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC) issued by Department of
Environmental and Natural Resources (DENR) to the EIS report prepared in October
2014 (the Original EIS Report in JICA FS), and its amendment to the Original Report
during the detailed design stage.
4) Following Table 1.1 (1) shows the environmental aspects and related Philippines
Laws/ Policies which will be considered while developing environmental system for
the Contract:
