    Cementitious Self-leveling Compound

    Description Technical & Physical Data


    PENTENS T-888 is a cementitious self-leveling
    interior flooring compound designed to make the Appearance Cement powder
    surface of a substrate fit to be tiled or covered with Plastic Density Approx. 1.5
    flexible floor covering. Foot Traffic 15 – 25 hrs at 20°C
    11 – 18 hrs at 35°C
    Practical Working Time 45 min.
    Uses Self-leveling Time 30 min.
    PENTENS T-888 provides a self-leveling and smooth Waiting Time Before Re-use 2 to 3 hours
    underlay for floor finishes such as:
    Covering Time Tiling: 5 hours minimum
    ● Concrete slabs
    (for 6mm thickness) Plastic coverings: 12 hours
    ● Cement screeds
    Shelf Life 1 year when unopened
    ● Plasterboard
    Storage Store in dry, cool place
    ● Anhydrite screeds
    Packaging 25kg /bag

    ● Car park slab 1. The application and drying temperature must be
    between 5°C and 35°C.

    Instruction for Use
    Surface Preparation
    Substrates must be sound, crack-free, dry, solid and
    free from dust. All large holes must be filled
    beforehand. Porous surfaces should be dampened
    with water and primed with PENTENS T-007 at
    0.2kg/m². In hot conditions, the substrate surfaces
    should be moistened prior to application. New
    concrete should be at least two weeks old before
    applying PENTENS T-888.

    Application
    Add 5-6 liter of clean cool water to 25kg of PENTENS
    T-888 and mix with electric drill fitted with a spiral
    mixer to obtain a uniform and lump-free consistency.
    Pour the mixed material over the area and spread to
    desired thickness using a notched trowel or spiked
    roller. The maximum thickness recommended for this
    material is 6 mm.

    To obtain a thickness in excess of 6 mm, it is possible


    to apply two coats successively. In this case, the
    second coat must be applied as soon as the first layer is
    suitable for walking.

    Coverage
    Approximately 2kg/m2/mm thickness.

    Drying Time
    Depends on the applied thickness, the type of substrate
    and the atmospheric conditions. As a general rule, the
    drying time is 4 hours for 2mm and 12 to 24 hours for
    6mm.

    Safety
    As cement is alkaline and may cause irritation, wear
    gloves and goggles when using PENTENS T-888. In
    case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with clean
    water and seek medical advice if symptoms persist.
