There are five major types of biomes: aquatic, grassland, forest,
desert, and tundra, though some of these biomes can be further
divided into more specific categories, such as freshwater, marine,
savanna, tropical rainforest, temperate rainforest, and taiga.

4. The Sahara Desert located
The Sahara or Sahara is the largest hot desert in the world and the third largest after Antarctica
and the Arctic. With more than 9,400,000 km² of surface, it covers most of North Africa
occupying an area almost as as big as China or the United States

which are narrow valleys with very steep sides, are also landforms found in
many deserts. Flat regions called plains, sand dunes, and oases are other
desert landscape features.
