One rainy afternoon, Errol did not go straight home from school. He had
his raincoat on, so he did not get wet. Then he saw a dog trembling on the
sidewalk. He stopped and looked at it. The dog barked very softly.
Errol was sorry for the dog. He brought it home. He put it near the stove
with fire. The dog looked at Errol and said, awww, awww, awww. It wanted to
say, thank you. Since then, the dog became his pet. He loves his pet very much.
