ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT IN MATHEMATICS

S.Y. 2018-2019

I. Introduction

Mathematics still remains the most feared subject next to English. This is true in spite of
the many efforts exhausted by our math educators, but this should not stop math teachers from
exerting means and ways to allow students to befriend and be comfortable with Math.

This is a big challenge for us Math Teachers; hence much thought was given regarding
how complex processes can be simplified to meet the level of the students. As always and as it
should be, what the learners can absorb with the utilization of interesting activities should be
considered.

As part of the program of Math Club, they set a series of activities under the
coordinatorship of Mrs. Alberta M. Martinez, these activities were geared towards the development of
the students from June to march. The said activities were in accordance to the Dep Ed Vission
Mission and goals through memorandums approved by the Division office. Our school offers program
that would make Math pleasurable to everyone. This taught the students the techniques and methods
of solving problems in Math.

II. Highlights of Accomplishment

A. Student Development/School Activities

1. Conduct MTAP Saturday Class for Regular students

2. School elimination of contestants for MMC Division elimination.

3. Participated District contest on MMC Division elimination.

B. Teacher Development

1. Attended District Roll out on training cum workshop for instructional leaders

And k-12 mathematics teachers on crafting and utilizing numeracy assessment

Tools with e-games for enhancing mathematics instructions

2. Participated the district evaluation of numeracy tools and

e-games utilization (small school category)

3. Participated District contest on MMC Division elimination.

C. Awards

Mrs. Alberta M. Martinez – math teacher won as 1st place for the District contest on
MMC Division elimination (grade 7 category)

Miss Katherine P. Sobrepeña - math teacher won as 2nd place for the District contest
on MMC Division elimination (grade 8 category)
