IDENTIFYING INFORMATION

Date & Time : December 07, 2022 at 3:00 PM – 05:00 PM (Wednesday)


Venue : Room 7 – Mrs. Diaz’s Room
Participants : TLE & Science-regular and MAPEH & ESP Department Heads, and
Teachers under this Department

Objectives:
This activity aimed to:
Equip the participants with the proper knowledge on the
contextualization of learning resources.
Craft the Activity Completion Reports and Picto- Narrative.
Other issues and concerns

A. Highlights of the Activity:

The activity focused on the formulation of Activity Completion Reports and the practice
of Localized and Indigenized learning Resources and materials.

B. Topics/Activities Undertaken:

1. Program of activities was disseminated through Group Chat/messenger by


Department Head.

2. All concerns regarding preparations and all other undertaken was assigned to TLE
and Science Department and MAPEH and ESP Department.

3. The attendance sheets are also disseminated during the said activity.

4. The program started with an Invocation Through Multi Media presentation, and
followed by the singing of the National Anthem Through Multi-media presentation Also.
It was gracefully maneuvered by Mr. Alixander B. Compuesto as the master of
Ceremony.

5. The group was enlightened as Sir Janry Nino R. Caisedo Delivered his thought of the
day.

6. Attendance was recognized by giving words of significance of Christmas for the


MAPEH/ESP Department which was initiated by Mrs. Marie Sholle A. Canedo -
Deaprtment Head/MTI. While the singer wannabe of TLE/ SCIENCE Department,
attendance was recognized by Mrs. Janet L. Tamor -Deparmtent Head/ MTI through
singing a Christmas song as she mentioned names.
7. Agility and alertness was challenged as Maam Ma. Villa C. Abejar Initiated her
awakening number On Energizer.

8. The feelings of comfort and ease was aired as Maam Girlie E. Diaz Welcomed the
group to her conducive room.

C. Significant Findings/Results:

1. The said activity was 100% attended by two Departments, MAPEH & ESP Department
and TLE & Science Department.

2. Changes and some other innovation on the ACR formulation and Picto- Narrative was
given emphasis by Maam Rizalee S. Cueva in every School Activity to be conducted to.
According her, it is one way of recognizing the performance and efforts extended for the
said activity.

3. The participants was equipped with the knowledge and expertise through the topic
discussed by Mrs. Meljean K. Castillo on the integration of the contextualization in every
learning situation. Thus, there is a need to adapt to the learner’s diversity through
contextualization. The Discussant stressed the implementation of Localization and
contextualization is anchored on RA #. 10533 Enhance Basic Education Act of 2013
( D.O. No. 43 s. 2013)

4. Mr. Janry Niño R. Caisedo shared also on how he localized and contextualized in the
teaching and learning process in Filipino subject that helps to arouse the interest of
Learners. He emphasized the used of local Panitikan like singing the Lawiswis kawayan,
and Lubi- Lubi on the Topic of Mga Awiting Bayan At Bulong.

5. The use of local tourist spots, local transportation, and local personalities and their
contributions, was shared by Maam Gerlie E. Diaz so that teaching and learning in
MAPEH will be more conducive and collaboratively developed.

6. Maam Mila C. Abellar One of the TLE teacher was gracefully delivered her 2 pages
message as she finally closes the program.

7. The objectives of the activity were successfully met as planned and programmed.

D. Facilitating Factors:

1. Program, venue planning, and active participants helped in the successful conduct of
the activity.

2. The first part of the program was initiated by the Science/TLE department.

3. The Clear information was disseminated by Departments Heads through group chats.

4. All are accommodated with comfortable tables and chairs during the activity.
5. A smooth discussion was done during the First SLAC Session for the month of
December 2022.

6. All is well and participating in the activity.

E. Hindering Factors/Causes/Reasons:

1. Due to Learning activity conducted by Mr. Alixander Compuesto on his class since he
is the master of ceremony the start of SLAC was bit delayed.

2. During the discussion, there was a technical problem encountered.

3. The functionality of projector affects also the flow of the said activity.

F. TA Provided/Solutions Made:

1. All were encouraged to share their expertise, and suggestions, that promotes the
effectiveness of teaching and learning in MAPEH, ESP, TLE AND SCIENCE.

2. Feel free in asking Technical Assistance from Department Heads, like on the Schedule
of Classroom Observations, and reports submission.

3. The integration of Moral Values Formation in every Learning areas were advised.

4. Reminded the conservation in using the electricity.

5. The use of Cellular Phone during class hour were discouraged if it can cause the
disturbance of classes.

G. Policy Recommendations:

The group was reminded that as a partner, everyone played a vital role in promoting
excellence in achieving the goal of Education. Unity, effort, patience, sympathy, empathy,
compliments, appreciation, inspiration, and respect must reign in the heart. In that way, the
workplace will be filled with driven employees with positive attitudes, who vibrate continually
to the tune of service excellence and passionate team success for the common goal.
H. Ways Forward:

 The mutual practice in the use of localized and indigenized learning materials in the
delivery of lesson/s.
 To established the School Based Management level of practice in every activity, crafting
of ACR is a must.
