Sitwasyon 1
Si Mark ay isang social worker, at mayroon siyang kliyente na may banayad na
kapansanan sa intelektwal. Sa panahon ng kanilang sesyon, mabilis na tumalon si

Ang mga empleyado ay, marahil, sila ay naniniwala sa tsismis- ang hindi
maiiwasang parte sa buhay ng isang organisasyon. Ito ay isang uri ng komunikasyon
na kadalasang matatagpuan sa loob ng isang organisasyon, ngunit hindi ito illegal sa
kanila, ito ay natural lamang sa mga taong palaging nagkakasama. Ayon sa
pananaliksik, umaabot hanggang 70 porsyento sa karamihan ng organisasyon ay

nakakaintindi sa nasabing problema. Natagpuan din sa pananaliksik na 80 porsyento
ng mga tsismis sa loob ng organisasyon ay may katotohanan. Kinakailangan ang
karagdagang pananaliksik, dahil ito ay lumalaganap, tumataas, habang alam na natin
ang pagbibigay ng inpormasyon ay nabago. Natatadaan mo ba ang larong
“telephone”, halimbawa, kung saan ang nabulong na mensahe ay ibinulong at ito ay

siyang mas mahalagang gawain na dapat gawin kaysa maunawaan ang tulong na
kailangan ni Jay.
Paliwanag: Ang mga epekto ng hindi interes sa isang pag-uusap ay pinanghihinaan ng
loob ang mga kasangkot sa isang pag-uusap upang humingi ng paglilinaw o humiling
ng bagong impormasyon sa gayon pagkuha ng kasiyahan. Ito ay malinaw na ipinakita
sa pakiramdam ni Jay na siya ay bobo at mabagal.

3. Kakulangan ng pakikiramay
Hindi kinilala ni Mark ang mga pagkabigo na nararamdaman ni Jays at sa kabila ng
katotohanang nag-aalok siya ng tulong, hindi niya aktibong tinulungan si Jay sa
kanyang kasiyahan. Lumilikha ito ng isang hadlang sa paghahanap ng kahulugan sa
ekspresyon ni Jays at hindi ganap na matulungan siya.
Paliwanag: Ang empatiya sa isang pag-uusap ay ang susi sa pag-unawa sa mga
customer at nakakatulong ito upang makabuo ng isang seguridad at mas malakas na
ugnayan sa isang pag-uusap.
4. Ang iba pa
Paggamit ng jargon. Sa kabila ng pagkakaroon ng banayad na kapansanan sa
intelektuwal na si Jay, patuloy na nakikipag-usap si Mark sa mga teknikal na termino
na mahirap maintindihan. Nag-aambag ito sa mga pagkabigo ni Jay dahil hindi niya
maipahayag ang kanyang sarili nang malaya at nagtapos sa pakiramdam na tanga.
Paliwanag: Mahalaga ang Jargon sa komunikasyon sa mga propesyonal, subalit, dapat
gumamit ang mga manggagawa ng simpleng wika sa kanilang mga kliyente upang
mas maintindihan ang bawat isa.

samakatuwid ay hindi ako makikinig sa sinasabi ng aking kaibigan nang may buong
pagkaunawa. Lumilikha ito ng isang hadlang sa aming komunikasyon dahil
pinahihirapan nito ang komunikasyon na makamit ang inilaan nitong hangarin.
