    I. INTRODUCTION

    Since the counting process requires


    labeling of things with numbering, when
    objects or things are placed in order,
    ordinal numbers tell their exact position, or
    help put things in an order in a collection.

    II. OBJECTIVES

    At the end of this lesson, the pupils are expected to:

    a. Identify the 1st , 2nd , 3rd up to the 10th object in a given set;
    b. Arrange the ordinal numbers up to 10th

    III. TRY THIS!


    In this lesson you will learn how to 1
    read and arrange ordinal numbers from
    1st to 10th.
    A. Directions: Do what is asked. Start counting from the left.

    1. Box the second ice cream.

    2. Circle the fifth beach ball.

    3. Color the seventh swimsuit red and the tenth one blue.

    4.Put a check () on the third rake.


    Put a cross (×) on the sixth rake.

    5.Box the fourth umbrella.

    B. Look at the fruits. Count them from left to right.
