THE TASKS

The purpose of this survey is to obtain opinions from customers based on factors that influence
their demand behaviour. You will then write a report in group that explain the findings of the
survey. The report can be written using the following guidelines,

1. Introduction

 Discuss the concept/ theory of consumer demand and consumer behaviour – such as
consumer demand, consumer choice and utility concepts

2. Findings and Discussion

 Explain your findings based on the survey.

 Part A: Respondent Background – describes the respondents' backgrounds,
including the percentage of respondents by gender, age, and ethnicity. You may use a
table or graph in order to demonstrate your data.
 Part B: Consumer Behaviour (1) – Explain and display the survey results using
graphs or tables. You may explain the percentage of respondents that strongly agree
or strongly disagree with each itemised question. For example, the percentage of
respondents that strongly agree to buy branded goods.
 Use various sources of information to support your findings. For example, you can use
articles from newspapers or journals to support your argument about why some people
prefer branded goods and why some people increase their purchases as their income
increases, etc.
 Part C: Consumer Behaviour (2) - explain and show the result of the survey by using
graphs or tables. In this part, you can explain on consumer choice between Good A
and Good B. For example, percentage of respondents that strongly prefer Good A.
 You can explain the reason why some people choose Good A or Good B if their
income or price increases.

3. Conclusion

 Conclude your findings
