 Chief Executive Officer (CEO) - has overall responsibility for creating, planning, implementing, and integrating the
strategic direction of an organization. This includes responsibility for all components and departments of a
business.

CEO Duties & Responsibilities:

 Creating, communicating, and implementing the organization's vision, mission, and overall
direction
 Leading the development and implementation of the overall organization's strategy
 Soliciting advice and guidance, when appropriate, from a Board of Directors
 Formulating and implementing the strategic plan that guides the direction of the business or
organization.
 Overseeing the complete operation of an organization in accordance with the direction established
in the strategic plans
 Evaluating the success of the organization in reaching its goals
 Looking at potential acquisitions or the sale of the company under circumstances that will enhance
shareholder value
 Representing the organization for civic and professional association responsibilities and activities in
the local community, the state, and at the national level
 Participating in industry-related events or associations that will enhance the CEO's leadership skills,
the organization's reputation, and the organization's potential for success.

 Pharmacist - The Pharmacist will dispense drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners and
provide information to patients about medications and their use. He or she may advise physicians and other health
practitioners on the selection, dosage, interactions, and side effects of medications.

Duties/Responsibilities:
 Reviews prescriptions to assure accuracy, to ascertain the needed ingredients, and to evaluate their suitability.
Provides information and advice regarding drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and proper medication
storage.
 Assesses the identity, strength, or purity of medications. Compounds and dispense medications as prescribed by
doctors and dentists by calculating, weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients, or overseeing these activities.
 Maintains records such as pharmacy files, patient profiles, charge system files, inventories, control records for
radioactive nuclei, and registries of poisons, narcotics, and controlled drugs.
 Plans, implements, and maintains procedures for mixing, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals according to
policy and legal requirements to ensure quality, security, and proper disposal.
 Provides specialized services to help patients manage conditions such as diabetes, asthma, smoking cessation,
and high blood pressure. Offers health promotion and prevention activities by, for example, training people to
use devices such as blood pressure and diabetes monitors. Advises customers on the selection of medication
brands, medical equipment, and health care supplies.
 Collaborates with other health care professionals to plan, monitor, review, and evaluate the quality and
effectiveness of drugs and drug regimens, providing advice on drug applications and characteristics. Analyzes
prescribing trends to monitor patient compliance and to prevent excessive usage or harmful interactions.
 Orders and purchases pharmaceutical supplies, medical supplies, and drugs, maintaining stock and storing and
handling it properly.
 Pharmacy Assistant - Assists licensed pharmacist in preparing and dispensing drugs to patients and
healthcare providers. Verifies that prescriptions are filled correctly and in a timely manner. Interacts with
patients in delivering medications and completing other sales transactions. Receives, records, and stores
medications coming into the pharmacy. Maintains stock of prescription medications and informs
pharmacist of inventory needs.

Pharmacy Assistant Job Duties and Responsibilities

 Dispenses prescription medication and other medical products to patients under direction of licensed
pharmacist
 Counts pills, labels bottles, prices, and compounds medications to prepare prescriptions for patients as
directed
 Performs administrative duties, including answering phones, receiving and inputting prescription
orders, operating cash registers, and restocking inventory
 Gathers, organizes, and assesses patient information
 Supplies patients with information and education on their prescriptions
 Monitors prescription-filling process to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and pharmacy
policies
 Liaises with healthcare providers and patients to obtain correct prescription information
 Answers patients' questions about their medications under the supervision of the pharmacist
 Takes inventory of drugs on hand and records results
 Places orders for additional drugs as directed by the pharmacist
 Maintains electronic patient information
 Prepares billing information for medications
 Completes patients' sales transactions for purchase of prescription and over-the-counter medications
as well as other pharmaceutical products

 Chief Financial Officer - The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of a company has primary responsibility for the
planning, implementation, managing and running of all the finance activities of a company, including
business planning, budgeting, forecasting and negotiations. The CFO job description should also extend to
obtaining and maintaining investor relations and partnership compliance.

CFO duties and responsibilities of the job


 Providing leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team
 Providing strategic recommendations to the CEO/president and members of the executive
management team
 Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all
financial reporting
 Advising on long-term business and financial planning
 Establishing and developing relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders
 Reviewing all formal finance, HR and IT related procedures
 Auditor - an auditor examines paper records, inventory and claims from the previous 12 to 18 months. He
also inspects pharmacy computer programs, such as drug interaction and inventory programs, to confirm
they are in working order and comply with industry standards.
Job and Responsibilities
 Pharmacy claims auditors certify that filled prescriptions are priced according to negotiated rates. As
such, auditors ensure that pharmacies charge the dispensing fees outlined in each insurance
company's contract, fill prescriptions correctly and file claims in accordance with state rules and
regulations. When pharmacy claims auditors discover discrepancies or other incorrect practices, such
as overcharging or dispensing incorrect prescription amounts, they help pharmacies take the
appropriate steps to correct the issues.

 Cashier - Cashiers scan items, ensure that prices are quantities are correct, and collect payments. They also
assist customers by explaining or recommending items, answering questions, and processing exchanges or
refunds.
Job and Responsibilities
 Welcoming customers, answering their questions, helping them locate items, and providing advice or
recommendations.
 Operating scanners, scales, cash registers, and other electronics.
 Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales.
 Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and proving a receipt to every
customer.
 Processing refunds and exchanges, resolving complaints.
 Bagging or wrapping purchases to ensure safe transport.
 Following all store procedures regarding coupons, gift cards, or the purchase of specific items, such as
alcohol or cigarettes.
 Maintaining a clean workspace.
