BIOLOGICS

3. Insulin glargine + Lixisenatide Soliqua Not-in-Use Pens: Store between 2°C-
8°C. Do not freeze. Protect from
light. In-Use Pens: Store below 25°C.
Do not refrigerate or freeze. Protect
from direct heat or light.

out of the refrigerator and stored below
25°C for 1 to 2 hours.
It must not be mixed or diluted with any
other insulin.
A new needle must always be attached
before each use. Do not reuse needles

suppository should be used and inserted
well up into the rectum and allow it to
remain from 15 to 20 minutes.

2. Glycerol United Home Glydolax Remind patients that glycerol


suppositories are for rectal use only.
Never take rectal suppositories by
mouth.
Advise patients not to double dose when
missed, just take the next dose if still
needed.

3. Metronidazole + Miconazole Metindaz Recommend to patient to avoid sexual


nitrate contacts during treatment as it can
reduce the efficacy of local contraception
and interactions of the suppository base
with the latex.
Advise patients not to take alcohol
during the therapy and for 3 days after
the end of the treatment, due to the
possibility of disulfiram-like reaction.

LIQUID PREPARATIONS

reconstitution. Inject immediately after
reconstitution. Shake well before use for
at least 20 secs if left for more than 15
minutes.

be administered for a long time. Taking


this for treatment will deem driving and
operating machinery as potentially
hazardous tasks.

3. Ipratropium bromide Atorvent The unit dose vials are intended only for
inhalation with suitable nebulizing
devices and should not be taken orally or
administered parenterally.

live vaccines during treatment as it may
result in serious infections due to
immunosuppression.

After reconstitution: must be used
immediately.

3. Acetylcysteine ACC Dissolve in a glass of water after meals.


Should not be taken for more than 4-5
days without medical advice.

SEMI-SOLID PREPARATIONS
