    A. 3 Implications of Scientific Development in Contemporary Society


    - Science and technology have improved our quality of life and provided us with more free
    time. Furthermore, through science, diseases can be cured, and people can live longer and
    healthier lives. Though science has a long history of improving people's lives, in recent
    decades, its influence on individuals and society has grown significantly. A product of
    technology can considerably simplify a variety of routine everyday situations.

    1. For example, a machine that prepares coffee is convenient and timesaving. Products of
    technology accelerate daily life and working processes and allow people to accomplish
    more daily. This is time and labor saving, which allows a higher production.

    - Scientific progress not only benefits individuals on a local level, but it also has a positive
    impact on global issues. Without technology and science, the current level of
    globalization would not have been feasible. Connection, communication, and trade are all
    aided by this progress. This progress is largely responsible for the increasing global
    market. Globalization, in addition to its commercial benefits, promotes peace through
    technological growth. It not only strengthens corporate and political ties, but it also draws
    people together.

    2. For example, it is simple to be friends with people around the world thanks to social
    networks and videoconferencing.

    - Another advantage of scientific progress is the state of knowledge in medicine and health
    care on which scientists work constantly.

    3. As a result, both genders' average life expectancy is increasing each year. As a result of
    all this hard work and study, modern medicine is now able to deliver the appropriate drug
    for most diseases. There is no way of knowing what medical breakthroughs are on the
    horizon, but there is no doubt that the future is bright.
    B. 2 Reasons why Scientific Literacy is important
    1. Science literacy is significant because it provides a context for solving societal issues,
    and because a science-literate population can better cope with many of these issues
    and make educated and informed decisions that will affect their lives and the lives of
    their children.
    2. Science literacy entails not just an understanding of fundamental concepts, but also an
    appreciation of the relevance of scientific theories and hypotheses' "falsifiability," the
    knowledge that scientific research is value-laden, and an understanding of scientific
    investigation's problem-solving nature.

    C. In summary

    - The scientific revolution, which emphasized systematic experimentation as the most valid
    research method, resulted in developments in mathematics, physics, astronomy, biology,
    and chemistry. These developments transformed the views of society about nature.
    Without this, we can’t understand the importance of science in our lives. Through science
    and technology, it is easier for inhabitants to communicate with other people around the
    globe. It is also significant in the field of business because transactions and other events
    are done through the computer. Science and technology enable every people to live in an
    easy and modern way of life. It opens the door and allows people to enter a new world
    which is fully developed and well civilized.
