a. Family
When they need someone to talk to, I am willing to listen to them. Also, good communication is
an important part because if I am rude to someone around me, I am one hundred percent sure that they
don't want to talk to me. A healthy communication style can make it easier to deal with conflict and
build stronger and healthier communication with the people around us.
c. With God
When it comes to my relationship with God, I always make sure to have time and talk to him
every day. When I am reading my daily bread or the bible, I feel like I have a deep one-on-one
conversation with God. As for how my relationship today than before, today is much better because my
friends influence me. My friends play a big part in why my relationship with God became more closer.
And through my experience in life helps me to become more closer to God and believe in Him.
Developing an intimate relationship with God is like an exciting treasure hunt. The joy is not in the prize
but in Him.
Among the Cardinal and Theological values, choose one that affected you the most and why?
Among the Cardinal and Theological values, I choose faith. In Hebrew 11:1, faith defines as
confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Faith is what helps to get us
through, illuminating the pathway in times of darkness, helping to give us strength in times of weakness.
Without faith, we are nothing. There is a time in my life that I am slowly losing my faith. When I am in
9th grade, I think this is the time that I am deeply in pain because my parents are slowly drifting apart,
and until now, whenever the topic is about family, I can't help my self not to feel sad, and there is
always ache in my hearts. Through that time, I am questioning God why this is happening to me. And
that time, I find it hard to accept it, and I don't know what to do. Sometimes I think that "Did I do
something wrong in my past life to experience this kind of pain I am feeling right now?" But as how
many times I question God, He always gives me an answer without realizing it. And as time goes by, I
slowly realized that if we focus on problems and negativity, we will live solely in those problems and
have difficulty moving on. We tend to move away from positivity. Instead, we go from a state of
abundance to a state of lack. But, with the help of faith, it replenishes abundance in the heart and the
spirit, not just in mind.
I have this saying, "If you problem the problem, the problem will problem you." Faith is the pathway for
abundance. We shoudn't be afraid to expect the very best for ourselves. It is not about being selfish or
aimlessly wishing for things; this is about the true, utter, deep-down belief in our heart and our soul that
things will improve and that we deserve the very best in life. We couldn't expect things to turn out all
right for us, no matter what the situation might be without faith.
With all the events that Covid-19 has given us, how can the Theological virtue of Charity/Love be fully
realized? (Explain fully and provide your own concrete example/s.) (10 points)
Through this pandemic, everyone is affected. We don't know when this will end. Charity is one
of the virtues of theological virtue by which we love God above all things for His own sake and our
neighbor as ourselves for the love of God. In this pandemic, many people become one. There are many
people donating masks, food for the front liner, etc. As a student, I don't have enough money to donate.
Instead, I include them in my prayers because prayer is very powerful. And it is the perfect time to do
good. As Pope Francis asks, "Let us ask the Lord, at this challenging time for all of us, to rediscover within
us his presence that loves and sustains us, and thus bearers of his tenderness to all who surround us
with works of closeness and good."
What is responsible freedom? How are you going to apply it to become the person God created you to
be? (Explain fully and provide your own concrete example/s) (10 points)
Responsible freedom means we disconnect from our behavior, controlling our thoughts about
them, but not from our desire to hope for, pray for, and encourage them to better behavior and choices.
Responsible freedom even exhorts and rebukes them at some point. True freedom requires great
responsibility. As a student and a teenager, technology is very useful. I have this application on my
phone where I can read the bible. Also, in my everyday life, I always have a conversation with God.
Through prayer, I can simply talk to God about whatever is on my mind. I always pray from the heart.
Also, God created each of us for a purpose. Through this responsible freedom, we should know how to
use it to become the person God created us to be. God created us to put forth our best effort. God
wants us to put forth our best effort and do everything as if we were doing it for Him. I want to focus on
doing what God has called me to do, as best I can do it, without fear of consequences for my
imperfection. "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human
masters" (Colossians 3:23).
