Task procedures:-
I was assigned by my mentor Mr. Ashok Nandi to
work under the guidance of Mr. Dhananjay Jena
on the first day.
Then further my guide assigned me with some of
the promotors(airtel pratinidhi) as my
subordinates.
I leaded, guided, and assisted them during the
work process.
Our work was to go different locations in
Bhubaneswar and put up our kiosk setup, and
promote our brand on behalf of the promotional
offer set by the company to the customers to port
their phone numbers from other operators to
airtel.
Customers wanting to purchase new sim card
were welcomed but that was not counted in our
daily targets.
The daily target was 10 MNPs per day, and
increase more numbers if achieved the target
early.
Customers were asked to bring their original
documents (aadhar,voter id,etc) and within
5minutes our promoter does the procedure.
Learning Experiences
Learnt how to convince a customer and how to
deal with their problems and give them solution
and simultaneously make them accept your offer.
Learnt how convince a customer who is
disappointed on the company, and how to make
him our customer again by showing proof of our
upgrades.
Learnt how to choose location according to timing.
During this lockdown and shutdown first half
timing was suitable to choose busy and crowded
locations whereas second half timing required to
go inside colonies, slums, and door to door
promotion.
Biggest thing I have learnt is how to study a
customers psychology with the first interaction
with him.
Another good thing I have learnt is how to make
an offer to a customer that he cant refuse to take
it and how to make him have you as the only
option in the market.
Learnt how to work with my subordinates
(promotors) to make them work efficiently and
effectively.
