Personal Branding and
Social Selling
Employers are searching LinkedIn for college students pursuing graduate and post graduate programmes for
employment and internship opportunities. Covid-19 pandemic, has unexpectedly thrown everything out-of-gear. Since
physical opportunities to maintain career development have shrunk, LinkedIn is an organic platform that provides the
virtual environment in which students can continue exploring and enhancing their employability. LinkedIn is a
professional social media providing opportunities to celebrate smallest achievements, their acknowledgement by
others, to engage in conversational intelligence, thus enhancing students’ self-efficacy. It’s essential to have a strong
online presence.
Have you already made a LinkedIn account? Is your profile not set up properly? Or
you have not created an account yet. This is the time then. When searching for
jobs or internship, with LinkedIn, students can profile themselves better than CV.
This workshop is specifically geared to what college students need. LinkedIn is
the best global platform for personal branding and social selling through
professional networks.
Learn how to tap into the power of LinkedIn to build a professional network, establish your digital footprint, stay up-to-
date in your industry, and much more. This workshop will guide students to build an outstanding LinkedIn profile, for
even those who do not have previous work experience. The workshop covers how to set up a new LinkedIn account and
create an impressive profile that grabs attention, how to build and expand LinkedIn network, identify job opportunities,
and finally connect with recruiters. In this journey students build a professional brand and a social presence.

Heads of the institutions and Heads of Departments may also nominate 3 or more students from the same
department or institution to avail the group discount. Kindly send the nominations latest by July 20th, 2021 to enable
us to customize the workshop to the students’ background. As we have limited seats, nominations shall be accepted on
first-come-first serve basis.

Each participant needs to register for the workshop by filling up the Google Form and paying the registration fees for
the two phases is Rs. 1000/- for individual student and Rs 800/- for each student availing group discount.
